For my story cube I chose to focus on aspects of our campus that sometimes go unnoticed and forgotten, when we think of the buildings on our campus. I chose to photograph areas that have encompassed the natural environment that surrounds us; these areas allow us to study, think and just admire the settings all around. With alterations done to the environment, these locations have become a place created for us, the students. These photographs are all taken outdoors and reflect places that I have spent many hours studying or working on art.

Where and why I photographed these particular places:
1. The outdoor seating at STJ – because it’s away from the busy campus life
2. Modern Language Tim Hortons seating area – because it’s a nice place to relax and enjoy your morning coffee.
3. The steps between Art Lecture and Dana Porter – because it’s always an interesting place to be, to either relax in the shade or watch everyday interactions.
4. Peter Russel Rock garden – because it’s a quite place with true beauty that most have forgotten.
5. The tree seating area beside the math building – because it’s a great place to sketch out some trees and the nature that surrounds it.
6. Student Life Center – because the sun hits this seating area and creates a warm enjoyable place on nice summer days, and there is always something going on around this location.
